Moving  Mountains: The Awakening’ is a post-earthquake documentary through the lens of a young girl who visits  Barkpak (Gorkha district), the epicenter of the 2015 earthquake. The event gives rise to several questions to the young child’s mind regarding earthquake and why it takes place. The documentary further departs to explore knowledge in depth on the geographical construction and seismic tension beneath Nepal and suggests a possibility of another earthquake.

The short 30 minute dramatical documentation is a massive wake up call to the people to be prepared for an earthquake that could occur any time in the future.
